Dear County Council Chair and Members:
We are writing in favor of the County Council supporting the appropriation of funds to purchase Honuapo in
Ka'u.
We were both born and raised in Ka'u and our families have enjoyed camping, swimming, and fishing at
Honuapo. We would like to see the area preserved and accessible for public use and educational purposes for
our children and future generations to enjoy.
We ask for your support of bill No. 53. Thank you.
