My name is Ken Freund and l work at the Hilo Airport and live in
Ka' u. When I come out of the hustle and bustle of urban life, it is soothing
and peaceful to find a coastline that is undeveloped and accessible for our
families. Please save the coastlands and in particularl, Honu' po and its
fishpond and estuary. Its natural beauty is important to all of Hawai' is
people, as well as our visitors.
"Phis is a playground for people in Volcano, Pahlaa and Na' alehu. It is
even a place for escape for people of Kona, who are finding their shoreline
more and more crowded.
