SUBJECT: Bill 124: Appropriation of $150,000 to the
Papaya Quarantine - Misc. Charges Account
Thank you for your memo dated September 17, 1997. We just
received the final copy of the Lease Agreement from
Kamehameha Schools Bishop Estate. However, we have not
received the tri-party Memorandum of Agreement from the
State Attorney General's Office. Mr. Fred Gianini of the
Corporation Counsel advised us to defer signing of the Lease
Agreement until the tri-party Memorandum of Agreement is
finalized so that both documents could be signed by the
Mayor at the same time. We will be sending you copies of
both documents as soon as they are fully executed.
