And <br /> continually we hear complaints of people regarding our crowded conditions on our <br /> roads. But our complaints aze not baseless. <br /> Please, Councilmembers, listen to the people of Kona. As has been suggested <br /> previously practice smart development -infrastructure first. We are so seriously <br /> impacted with traffic and poor road conditions that these must be fixed first before <br /> more development is allowed. <br /> As individuals, you aze elected to represent your districts, but as a council, you are <br /> elected to represent the entire island. And we wonder, do you listen to us, read <br /> our letters to the editors and take them into consideration, pay any attention to our <br /> statements regazding our deteriorating condition here? Many of us feel that <br /> voicing our concerns to you aze futile. We even read some statements that sound <br /> flippant regarding our problems. <br /> These developments which are the subject of tonight's public hearing will <br /> contribute tremendously to our traffic problems.
