Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the transfer of $32,000 from the Clerk-Council
Services-Contingency Relief account to the following account(s) and project(s):

Currently, the motorized equipment serving the swimming pool is inoperable and needs
to be repaired or replaced. The pool facilities cannot be used until the motor is repaired.
Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Capital Projects Fund by
appropriating $85,000. The appropriation includes the capital project proposed in
Resolution 18-04, which was approved on December 21, 2004 for $53,000.

Enclosed for your review anai~reeommendation is a bill amending Ordinance 04-75, the
Capital Improvement and Financing Budget by appropriating $85,000 to repair the
facilities and equipment at the Pahala Swimming Pool. Currently, the motorized
equipment serving the swimming pool has failed and is in need of repairs. 'The pool
facilities cannot be used until the motor is repaired.
Resolution 18-04 approved a transfer to the Capital Projects Fund on December 21, 2004
for $53,000, while an additional resolution for $32,000 is before the Council. The
Legislative-Contingency Relief is the source for both resolutions.
As per Article 10, Section 10-6 of the Hawaii County Charter, your recommendations to
the proposed amendment will be greatly appreciated.
