SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT - -
' KALANIANAOLE STREET -PROPOSED BIKE ROUTE
The Mayor's Advisory Committee on Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety requests that a Bike Route be
authorized along Kalanianaole Street.
We request the Hawaii County Code, Chapter 24, Article IQ Division 9, Section 24-295, Schedule 43
(Bicycle routes), under subsection (c) South Hilo be amended as described in the attached draft for an
ordinance.
We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment. Should you have any
questions, please contact Richard Nishimura, Traffic Division Chief, at 961-8341.
