Dear Councilman 7acobson
This e-mail is to express our strong support for Bill 80, Subdivision of
agricultural land. Unless we do something to prevent agricultural land
from being split into lots sold by greedy developers and realtors to
"gentlemen farmers" who have no intention to farm, we will lose Hawaii
County's agricultural base and the county will become a retreat for the
very rich.
Please urge the council to tighten up the rules to prevent this loss of
our agricultural land, the evidence for which we can see all over the
island. This measure will have very brand popular support.
