As Y"~kT~aw I have been born and raised in the Hawaiian islands. I hve seen so ery many of our wonderful natural resources raped and destroyed in the name of "develpment", whic I see as the quest of the mighty dollar at the loss of everything that makes Hawaii, Hawaii. My h art was broken as a child growing up in Waikiki in the late 40's, 50's and 60's. I have settled in Ka'u raise my child in a natural place that gives access to the mountains and the ocean; as I had when I gre up. This is the last place in the state that we can still claim is under devloped. I certainly would lik it to stay that way. These bills make that statement. Please help us to keep our precious resources s they are. We do not need any more develpment that destroys what we love about our home. Yes e need to stay AG, and we need to purchase through bill 78 or put into conservation throough Hawaii means the natural places (all of Ka'u shoreline and forest with a buffer zone for protection).
