Subject: Support far Bills 78, 79 & 80
Aloha County Council,
As a school teacher in Hilo and a long time resident of the Big
Island, I am concerned at the increasing pace of development on our island.
our infrastructure is inadequate to effectively handle the massive increase
in population or big development projects. I encourage the county council
to make sure that we have open spaces for our children and future
generations to enjoy the Big Island and all the natural and spiritual
wonders that are unique to our home.
Please support Bills 78, 79 and 80 on April 19th to ensure that
mainland developers as well as others that only see the need for $$8SS do
not exploit our island any more than they already do. lust look at the
traffic for indicators of what is to come if we do not put some safety
measures in place! Remember "Malama Ka Aina~~
