Re: Amendment to Ordinance No. 0~4-75, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements
and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005
(Lincoln Park Improvements)
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 04-75, as amended,
the Public Improvements and Financing Budget, which appropriates $20,000 for the
Lincoln Park Improvements project. Ordinance OS-51 (Bill 40, Draft 6), which was
approved at the April 6, 2005 County Council meeting, appropriated a portions of the
General Fund's Fund Balance to the Capital Projects Fund.

RE: Request to Waive Amendment to Ordinance No. 04-75, as amended, Relating to Public
Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005
Pursuant to Section 1(g) of Rule 4 of the Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii, I
request your support for waiver of this matter from my Committee on Finance for consideration
and approval by the full Council at its next scheduled meeting on May 4, 2005.
Enclosed is a memorandum dated April 21, 2005, from Stacy K. Higa, Chair, Hawaii County
Council, requesting consideration of a bill for an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 04-75, as
amended, to include funding for the Lincoln Vark Improvements project. Action requested:
Amendment to the Public Improvements ordinance to include the Lincoln Park
Improvements to the Full Council.
It is advantageous that approval is granted f
or this matter to be placed onto the next Council
agenda for review. However, in the event [his request is denied, for whatever reason, I
understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on Finance for placement on its future
agenda.
