Ordinance OS-51 (Bill 40, Draft 6), which was approved at the April 6, 2005 County Council meeting, appropriated a portion of the General Fund's Fund Balance to the Capital Projects Fund. Higa, Chair Hawaii County Council 25 Aupuni Street Hilo, Hawaii 96720 RE: Request to Waive Amendment to Ordinance No. 04-75, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2005 Pursuant to Section 1(g) of Rule 4 of the Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii, I request your support for waiver of this matter from my Committee on Finance Tor consideration and approval by the full Council at its next scheduled meeting on May 4, 2005. Enclosed is a memorandum dated April 21, 2005, from Pete Hoffmann, Member, Hawaii County Council, requesting consideration of a bill for an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 04-75, as amended, to include funding for the Waikoloa Park Playground Equipment project. Action requested: Amendment to the Public Improvements ordinance to include the Waikoloa Park Playground Equipment to the Full Council. It is advantageous that approval is granted for this matter to be placed onto the next Council agenda Tor review. However, in the event Cris request is denied, for whatever reason, 1 understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on Finance for placement on its future agenda.
