resolution and bill. The Department of Public Works expects an increase in this fiscal
year's Building Permit revenues and wishes to use part of it towards the funding of lice
new positions in the Building Division. 'fhe amount of building permit applications has
grown considerably over the past several years with no change in slatting for the past
20 years. These five positions are listed as new positions in the proposed Operating
Rudgct for FY 2005-06, however. the Department of Public Works wishes for them to be
created this liscal year with continued funding in next year's budget.
