ORDINANCE NO. 05 59
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995
EDITION), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24-287, schedule 35 (Passenger
loading zones), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition) is amended by
adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
~___1 Ali'i drive.-east side: beginning-frar~ a point twa-fm~red-twenty=nine-feet north of
Likana Lane and extending forty-seven feet in the northerly direction. 24 hours daily.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6, section 24-288, schedule 36 (Freight loading
zones), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 edition) is amended by adding
the fo?lowing to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
Ali'i Drive east side. beginning from a goint two-hundred seventy-six feet north of
Likana Lane and extending_sixty feet in the northerly direction. 24 hours daily.
~ Ali'i Drive. east side. beginning from a ooint five-hundred thirty-three feet north of
Likana Lane and extending forty-six feet in the northerly direction. 24 hours daily.
~ Ali'i Drive west side. beginning from a point one-hundred fifty-four feet south of
Kakina Lane and extending seventy-seven feet in the southerly direction.
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing
this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or
circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the
ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
