Next to this article in West Hawaii Today was a story about the SLOW response time that the fire department had to a blaze on Loloa Drive. 1. Could part of the reason it took 13 minutes to get there have anything at all to do with the traffice congestion? 2. Then there is the part about affordable housing. Do you really think that $1,147 fora 1 BR apartment, $1,377 fora 2 BR apartment or $1,591 fora 3 BR apartment is affordable? I am paying less than $800.00 for a mortgage and it is a struggle. 3. There are not enough police now, only 6 a shift in Kona. 4. There needs to be more fire stations. 5. Where is the water coming from? 6. Who is putting in the sewage? The schools? NOT TO MENTION, THE INFRASTRUCTURE? Again, I have to ask you all to vote against allowing ANY building until there are roads, sewage, water, schools, police and fire in place to handle this. Respectfully submitted. Lillian Fox Comm. N~. ~ ~ Ref. To: Ref. L'ot. 1 5/12/2005
