Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 83, reports as follows:
Bill No. 83, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 82-OS by Council Member Bob Jacobson,
via Communication No. 222, dated April 15, 2005, amends Ordinance No. 04-75, as amended,
the Capital Budget, ending ,lone 30, 2005, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION:
Pahala Swimming Pool Improvements 110-599-5597.89-115 $85,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund- $85,000
Fund Balance and/or other Sources
(Council Contingency Relief)
Funds will be used to replace, repair and upgrade the equipment and facility at the Pahala
Swimming Yool.
Pursuant to Section 10-6(d), Hawai`i County Charter, the Council may amend the Capital Budget
for that year with atwo-thirds vote.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 83 and
recommends it pass first reading.
