Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 86, reports as follows:
Bill No. 86, transmitted by Director of Finance William "Cakaba, via Communication No. 227,
dated April 13, 2005, amends Ordinance No. 04-74, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending
June 30, 2005. The amendment is as follows:
From:
3609.11 Transfer from General Fund Highway $172,000
To:
020-281-5281.32 Streetlights OCF, Highway $135,000
(Districts 2, 3, & 4; Ainaloa Subdivision)
020-301-5301.62 Puna Rd OCE 37,000
(Volcano Charter School's Shoulder Paving)
TOTAL $172,000
At the March 16, 2005 County Council meeting, Bill 40 was amended to Draft 4 to include
$20,000 for the streetlights in District 3 and $25,000 in District 4. On April 6, 2005, Bill 40 was
amended to Draft 6 to include $37,000 for the Volcano Charter School Shoulder-Paving project,
$25,000 for streetlights in the Ainaloa Subdivision and $65,000 for streetlights in District 2.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 86 and
recommends it pass first reading.
