In the face of unplanned growth, it is equally <br /> important that we preserve marginal, fragile, or historically significant lands for future generations. The legacy we <br /> leave to future generations indicates our priorities. Many of us are concerned that Hawaii Island is following the <br /> same unsustainable path as Maui and Oahu. Let's stop this before it is too late and preserve important lands so <br /> they cannot be developed.
