As a property tax payer, I fully support the 2% Land Conservation Fund (sill
78) which will ensure that all of us can experience Hawaii County's natural
wonders. More importantly, this fund will help protect natural ocean
resources, forest and open space resources, and native plant and animal
habitat. This type of legislation is forward thinking, definitely something
postitive that the County Council can be proud to have passed.
