Mayor Harry Kim & Council Chair Stacy Higa,
I am writing to encourage you to support passage of Bill 78, a measure to
dedicate 2% of property tax revenue to protect our wild coastline and open
spaces on the Big Island. Due to increasing development our tax revenues _
are up, but our wild, open places are in danger of disappearing because of
that same increase in development.
I believe we should act to preserve those places now, before they're gone
and it's too late.
