Council Chair Higa:
I support using 2% of the property tax revenues for land conservation. Some places that i have valued in
the 25 years I have lived here have disappeared, have limited access, or are over-used. I want my kids
and their kids to experience what has meant a lot to me. There have to be open spaces and wild places
whose value lies in just being what they are.
