Re: Bill 112 -Lincoln Park Improvements
Dear Chairman Higa:
Thank you for the opportunity to review and provide comments on Bill 112 to amend the
capital budget by appropriating an additional $10,000 for improvements to Lincoln Park,
supplementing the $20,000 provided in Bi1196. As with the original $20,000, this money will
be used to purchase materials and fund part of the cost of the construction of a new pavilion at
Lincoln Park. I also understand that a volunteer group will be assisting in this project.
I have discussed this with the Department of Parks and Recreation, and they have no
objections to this worthwhile project. The necessary funds have been set aside from excess
fund balance in Ordinance OS-51. Therefore, I have no objections to Bill 112.
