Subject: Bill 42, Draft 3
ask that you consider amending Bill 42, Draft 3 by decreasing Police Administration Division OCE-
Mileage & Auto Allowance by $256,452 and increasing the Council Continency Relief by the same.
A total of 50 officer positions is considered vacant or will be filled within the next two months. 39
positions or 75% will be used to reduce the Mileage and Auto Allowance account. The excess mileage
and auto allowances shall be reserved in the Council Contingency Relief acclount for purpose of future
obligations of the positions.
The following amendment affecting appropriations to the expenditure accounts are reflected below:
