Higa, Chair ~ And Members of the County Council 1l From: Virginia Isbell, Council Member i Subject: Bill 42, Draft 3 I ask that you consider amending [3ill 42, Draft 3 by unfunding vacant positions, which were unfilled on the Budget Salary Reports since March of 2003. A total of 10 positions will be affected for $367,994. The salary and wages shall be reserved in the Council Contingency Relief account for purposes of filling positions. Pursuant to the Council meeting of May 18, 20D5, request for funding of vacant positions may be waited from the Committee of Finance.
