I~he subject properties, owned in fcc by the applicants, are located one mile west of the South I~aniku Urive/Main I~:nU~ance Road intersection at the Mauna Lani Resort, approximately 5,500 Icet makai of the (luccn Ka'ahunrmu Highway. The covenants also prohibit seamdan, guest or caretakers units on the properties. I he properties arc situated within the Special Management Area, and the Special Management Area is a part of the Coastal Zonc Management Program regulated by the County. 'fhe proposed rryucst is tier lower density and will not adversely impact those resources.
