Higa, Chairman and Members of the Hawaii County Council Hawaii County Council 25 Aupuni Street Hilo, Hawaii 96720 Re: Resolution Transferring Funds Enclosed is a resolution transferring $10,000 out and from the Research and Development's Hawaii County Resource Center (HCRC) account and crediting it to the Transfer to Capital Projects Fund account. Ordinance No. 05-51 had appropriated funds to the HCRC account for the purpose of conducting a feasibility study for the Ho'olulu Park Complex. However, that study is not feasible at this time. Therefore, the funds will instead be transferred into the Capital Projects Fund for use on the Lincoln Park Improvement project. For the purpose of having this transfer resolution proceed concurrently with Bill No. 112, which amends the CIP appropriation of the Lincoln Park Improvement project, we would like to request a waiver from the Finance Committee and have this resolution heard at the Council meeting scheduled for June 15, 2005. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Research & Development.
