RE: Request to Waive Resolution Transferring/Appropriating an Appropriation out and from the
Designated Fund Account and Crediting Same to a Designated Fund Account
Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Procedure of the Council of the County of Hawaii, I request your
support for waiver of this matter from my Committee on Finance for consideration and approval by the full
Council at its next scheduled meeting on June I5, 2005.
Enclosed is a memorandum dated June 6, 2005, from Bob Jacobson, Member, Hawaii County Council,
requesting consideration of a resolution authorizing the transfer of funds for the 3~~ Annual International
Children's Art Festival administered by the Department of Research and Development. Acfion
requested: Resolution Transferring/Appropriating an Appropriation out and from the Designated
Fund Account and Crediting Same to a Designated Fund Account to the Full Council.
It is advantageous that approval is granted for this matter to be placed onto the next Council agenda for
review. However, in the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be
referred to the Committee on Finance for placement on its future agenda.
