To: the County Council Members of Hawaii and Mayor Kim:
As a resident of Pahala, I, the undersigned urge you all to approve both the ammendment to Bill 78 as
proposed by Bob Jacobsen as well as that for Bill 79. We, residents of Hawaii, need to take all
necessary steps to preserve open spaces for all Hawaiians both of today and tomorrow, and we also
need to preserve our precious natural habitats to ensure that our few surviving endangered species can
have a decent chance of staying off the list of extinct species. Please cast your votes to see that
these suggestions become a reality.
