Dear Chairman Arakaki & Members:
As required by Section 3-6(b) of the Hawaii County Charter, i
hereby appoint Mr. Alan S. Konishi as Deputy County Clerk of
the County of Hawaii to be effective September 16, 1997.
Mr. Konishi's duties will include all matters pertaining to
elections, including conducting and overseeing all elections
for the County of Hawaii; and other duties, as delegated by the
County Clerk.
The appointment iu eaempt from Civil Service laws and
classification and is subject to approval by the Hawaii County
Council.
