Angol p _J ~i'u,; 1 ~ Subject: Suffolk Development below Pulani Estates ;O.,. I am concerned that the developer is by passing all the Burial councils concerns for the area designated for the Alii Bypass road already having p,wvanted the construction of the Alii Bvpass Road. There are known grave sites adjacent to the proposed road connecting Alii dove to Kahaki Estates and therefore any attempt to build the connect road by Suffolk must be run through the Burial council. The county must notify all the adjcent land owners for the connect road including Alii Lani sondes and Kahakai Estates. The owners of Kahakai Estates have paid for and maintain the roads and therefore any proposal by the county to condem these roads for public use will require just fair market compesation for the cost of construction. Prior to approval of this proposed development, the county should make everyone aware of whe is going to pay for the construction of the road and with what funds, if by the county. It was my understading that the construction of this road (Connect road) was already ayreed W by the developer of the lands adjacent to the connect road. I am opposed to this project for the same reasons that the mayor stopped the Glifto project. Any new development along the highway must be accompanied by major infrastructure improvements including a four lane road between Karlua and keauhou.
