Re: 1997-98 Operating Budget
In the FY 1997-98 Operating Budget, we inadvertently forgot to include
funding for disabled transportation.
Enclosed is a resolution transferring $133,000 from the Transfer to
Sewer Loan Fund account to the Mass Transit Miscellaneous Contract
Services account to continue this needed service.

RE: Attached Resolution
Pursuant to Section 1(e) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County
of Hawaii, this written approval is submitted in regazd to Resolution No. J?
11 which
transfers $133,000 from the Transfer to Sewer Loan Fund account to the Mass Transit
Miscellaneous Contract Services account, waiving said referral from the Committee on
Finance in order that appropriate action can be taken by the Council.
In reviewing the contents of the referral, it is deemed advisable that such a waiver be
granted.
