Edition), Administration, Relating to the Establishment of Volunteer Fire Stations
Enclosed for your consideration is a proposed Ordinance amending Chapter 2 of the
Hawaii Cowity Code 1983 (June 2005 Edition), Administration, Relating to the establishment of
Volunteer Fire Stations. The purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the Ainaloa Volunteer Fire
Station.

RE: Communication No._333 Bill No. _115 for Council's
authorization to amend Chapter:? of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (June 2005
Edition), Administration, relating to the establishment of Volunteer Fire Stations.
Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the
County of Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the
above-referenced matter be waived from the Committee on Public Safety and
Parks and Recreation to the full Council for immediate action. In reviewing this
matter, timely appro~~til is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is
granted and the matter placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However,
in the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, ]understand the matter
shall be referred to the Committee on Public Safety and Parks and Recreation for
placement on its future agenda.
