Re: Request for time to make a presentation regarding Solutions Traffic Task Force
Group's work on the Community Road Safety Watch Program at the Committee
on Public Safety and Parks and Recreation meeting on July 21, 2005.
Dear Chair Higa:
I am the Chair of the Solutions Traffic Task Force Group which is part of Solutions:
Neighborhoods In Action.
The Traffic Task Force Group has been working on how to get all residents and non-
residents of this Island of Hawaii involved in our number one traffic concern
°Speeding in our Neighborhoods". We have found away - "Community Road Safety
Watch".
Sergeant Dexter Veriato of the Hawaii County Police Department and myself would
like to request time to make a presentation before Council at your next Committee
on Public Safety and Parks and Recreation to be held on July 21, 2005. We expect
that our presentation will last 20 minutes. We are available anytime after llam
following the Hawaii County Highway Safety Council meeting.
