TI~I~ UIQPe4RTIV[-ENT OF PARKS d~aN~ RECR~lATION
WHERBA~, the Rotary Club of Kona Mauka has donated an Ohana Billiards Rockwell pool table to the
Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHIaR~AS, this pool table, with an estimated total value of $2,500, was donated for the seniors of the
Yano Senior Center (Captain Cook, Kona); and
WHERBAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on
behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and
WO-IEI~BA~, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this donation.
NOW, TI~EI~IaFOF~E, BE IT I:tInSOLVIEI~ BY THE COUNCIL OF TI°~E COUNTY OF HAW~41`I that in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of Hawaii
accepts this donation.
BE IT FURTHER R~SOLVE® that a letter of appreciation be sent to Ms. Elina Grugier, President,
Rotary Club of Kona Mauka, c/o FHB, 74-5973 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740, acknowledging this
donation.
