Dear Chairman Higa and Councilmembers: ;1;. I have lived in Kona for 8 years, and am very pleased to read that the County will soon buy Wai'aha to keep it for public use, so that the public will have a place to play and surf for generations to come. I applaud your use of Hawaii County money to do so. That little piece of beach is priceless. There is no other beach between Kailua and Magic Sands that the public can use, and it truly needs to be saved for locals as well as tourists. Keikis, for generations to come, will be grateful for your action to purchase the property. I urge you to fully support the purchase and look forward to using it myself. Sincerely, Ardeth L.
