Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
In accordance with the requirements of Article XIII, Section
13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, we request Council's
approval to accept two Huffy Ironman mountain bicycles donated
by World Triathlon Corporation dba Ironman Triathlon.
The approximate value of each bicycle is $650 or $1,300
combined. The Race Director of World Triathlon Corporation dba
Ironman Triathlon is Sharron L. Ackles.
The bicycles will be used by our Community Policing Officers as
part of their bicycle patrol program.
Your approval of this matter is appreciated.
