WhIEREO~~, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other obligation
requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be
approved by resolution; and
WO-IEROmAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into amulti-year lease agreement for five (5) years for
one (1) copier for the Office of Aging; and
WI-61mOaEA~, the lease on their current copier is expiring on July 31, 2005; and
WI~EREA~, the Office of Aging is looking for a comparable copier with a higher capacity to meet the
steady increase/demand in their office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OZESOLVIE® BY TOME COUNCIL OF THie COUNTY OF E9AWAI`I:
1 That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease agreement of a
copier for the Office of Aging.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated
obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement.
