Dear Chairman Higa and Council members:
I have lived in Kona for twenty-four (24) years, and am very pleased
to read that the County is in the process of buying Wai aha to keep
it for public use. Now our Islanders will have a place to play and
surf for generations to come.
I applaud your use of Hawaii County money to do so.
This beautiful beach is priceless!!!. There is no other beach
between Kailua and Magic Sands for public use and it truly needs to
be saved for both locals and tourists. Keiki, for generations to
come, will be grateful for your action to purchase the property.
I urge you to fully support this purchase.
