This tithe extension, as an amendment to the grant, is necessary to provide the Federal Emergency Management Agency on opportunity to review the draft mitigation plan before the County presents it to EDA for concurrence. This amendment is limited to extension of the termination date; does not modify the approved scope of work; and neither adds Federal funds to the award nor reduces the match requirement. Furthermore, all other terms and conditions of the award, including the requirement for periodic progress and financial reporting (which shall continue into the extension), remain unchanged. This letter serves as the notice of Offer of Award Amendment. The amendment itself will be effective upon your authorized official's signing each of the enclosed duplicate acceptances. The acceptance must be executed within 15 days of receipt of this letter. Each of the rivo copies must have an original signature. Please return one copy to me; the second copy is for the County's file. We wish you continued success with the project.
