Re: Bill No. 128, Draft 2
We request that you replace Bill No. 128 with the enclosed Draft 2 of this same bill.
Originally, Bill No. 128 amended the 2003A General Obligation Bond (GOB) Ordinance, No. 03-49
to include references to a new project, Honl's Beach Property Acquisition and to Ordinance No. 05-
87, the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget for fiscal year 2005-05.
Draft 2 of Bill No. 128 also amends the 2003A GOB Ordinance by adding references to the New
Puna Gym & Park Development and to the Pahoa Fire Station CIP projects. These two had been
major components under another CIP project, the Puna County Complex, but that appropriation
lapsed on June 30, 2005. These two projects were separately re-appropriated within this fiscal
year's Capital Budget, Ordinance No. 05-87. Draft 2 of Bill No. 128 also includes a reference to
Ordinance No. 04-75, the CIP Budget for fiscal year 2004-05, in the event that an appropriated
ADA Compliance project from that period needs additional funding.
