rcyucsts that Bill 69, previously heard by the Council, be tiled and replaced with this
new bill. Slates that the National Electrical Code is an excellent code of minimum
standard Ibr construction, and the last version adopted by the County was the 1993
I~.diLion on .lone 17, 1994. Certain sections in the National Code do not apply to local
construction conditions or situations; U~erefbrc, amendments have been adopted to
address local conditions as new editions of the National Code were adopted. Attaches
a summary of changes to the Electrical Code.
