Dear Pete Hoffman--
I am a Kohala resident and in deep need of recycling options. My address is P.O.
Box 371, Hawi, HI 96719.
Please support these bills:
1) Communication 358, Bill 121: This bill would establish a capital appropriation
for construction of the East Hawaii Regional Sort Station. ($4 Million)
2) Also Communication 358, Resolution 134-05: Would authorize the County
to enter into capital leases for equipment for the Regional Sort Station.
3) Communication 359, Bill 122: Authorizes an appropriation that would allow
the County to proceed as quickly as possible with a Request for Proposals to
acquire a waste reduction technology. ($500,000)
