Dear Chairman Higa and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Takashi Domingo of Council District 1 to the County
of Hawaii Liquor Commission. Mr. Domingo is a 67-year resident of Hawaii who
is currently retired. He formerly worked as a Hawaii County Special Assistant
from 1997 to 2002, and prior to that served as a Councilman for District 1 on the
Hawaii County Council for 20 years. Mr. Domingo previously served on the
Board of Directors for the Brantley Center, and has also served as a board
member on the Hamakua Health Center. He states that he is a Democrat, and if
confirmed will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2009.
