Re: Operating Budget
The State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources has requested for the
County's assistance in the paving of the Kealakekua Bay Road, also known as Honaunau
Beach Road or Na-po'opo'o Beach Road. The State will provide the funding, an amount
not to exceed $24,000, for this project.
Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State
of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources for this project.
Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating
the State funding of $24,000 to the Highway Fund.
