Re: Operating Budget
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating
$20,000 into the Parking Meter Fund's Equipment account. The funds will be used to
purchase new ADA accessible parking meters to replace existing parking meters located
at the existing Federal Building in Downtown Hilo and at the existing parking lot at the
County Building. The existing parking meters are old, do not have replacement parts when
they break and do not meet ADA accessibility requirements.
