Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 13 reports as follows:
Bill No. 131, transmitted by Director of Finance William Takaba, via Communication No. 386,
dated August 3, 2005, amends Ordinance No. OS-87, as amended, the Capital Budget, ending
June 30, 2006, by adding the following project:
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT:
Wailoa SPS Renovation - SRF 110-699-5691.58 $3,000,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
State Revolving Funds (SRF) $3,000,000
Funds will be used to renovate the Wailoa Sewage Pump Station, which was constructed in the
mid-1960's. The renovation will include an upgrade of the electrical system, installation of an
additional pump, installation of a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, and
roof replacement.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 131 and
recommends it pass first reading.
