Requesting a Limited Scope Performance Audit of Recycling and -
Diversion Grant Programs
Dear Chairman Higa and Council Members:
I have reviewed Resolution 168-OS that calls for a limited scope performance audit of the
County's recycling and diversion grant programs.
Barbara Bell and I welcome this audit, and look forward to working with your staff.
For your information, 1 have just approved Finance Director's Bill Takaba's response to
Communication No. 402, and would like to call your attention to that response because it
contains additional information about the County's solid waste programs that answers many
of the questions and concerns raised in Comm. No. 402.
