bill. ~I'hc Prosecutor's Oiticc staff requested this amendment, with the impetus being
feedback Il~om judges and juries in the court system: imprisonment liir lailure to obtain
a camping permit is so esu~eme that individuals cited for a violation are compelled to
challenge the citations in court and large number of these cases arc not vic~ccd as a
good use of the court's time.
