SUBJECT: "Poll of Hawaii Gounty Council members Regarding Solid Waste"
This poll will be on the agenda for the Environmental Management Committee, October 4, 2005.
It is anticipated that the responses to this poll will be useful in advancing Committee discussions
regarding solid waste in general, and, specifically, serve as a principal source for instructions to
counsel in drafting a request for proposal and/or other similar procurement documents as we
move forward to develop solid waste management facilities.
A summary of all responses, as well as individual polls from each Council Member who did
respond, will also be agendized as communications.
Council Members who have not yet completed and returned a poll are encouraged to do so. For
any Member(s) choosing not to respond, please inform either myself or James Weatherford, my
Legislative Assistant.
