Audit of Recycling and Diversion rants Program
`this is to transmit Resolution 168 - O5, Draft 2, which was the result of amendments
shown on the attachment made at the September 21, 2005, Council meeting.
To ramseyer, the amendments to the fourth "WHEREAS" as follows:
"WHEREAS, ~""'°'~"t~ Communication 402, distributed to
the County Council titled "Report to the I~awai'i county Council: Evaluation of the
Department of Environmental Management's Implementation of the Integrated Solid
Waste Management Plan" that was transmitted to the Council on August 15, 2Q05, raises
questions and concerns that indicates a need to review the County's recycling and
diversion grants program; and".
Also, the addition of item number four in the "NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII" section is
inserted as follows:
"4 All auditin¢ shall be done in accordance with governmental auditinK standards as
outlined in Rule 22, Council Rules.'
