Subject: Fw: 2nd Reading of $2.2M appropriation for Reload Facility to be heard at Council 9-21-05 at
Keauhou Beach Resort
I wish to add my support for funding of this Sort Station. I have
attended years of committee meetings adressing this issue, advocating one
solution or another to this end. Please do not delay or amend this
resolution to Hilo's impending closure of its land fill; for it will reduce
the impact this soaring population is having on the land and water, and the
otherwise inevitable train of waste trucks that will be clogging our
island's roads.

published in Sunday's Hawaii Tribune-Herald. It is a letter in support of
Council approving funding for the entire Sort Station.
